The YMCA relies solely on the support of alumni, volunteers and friends to deliver the highest quality programs in the best possible facilities.
GIFTS OF CASH Important resources to the YMCA Camp Indian Springs mission. GIFTS OF APPRECIATED SECURITIES Generates a charitable income tax deduction, but also may eliminate the capital gains tax. MEMORIAL GIFTS Provides lifetime recognition of someone you name. How Can You Invest in the YMCA 's Future? The following Giving Plans are some of the ways you can invest in YMCA Camp Indian Springs. Your gift to YMCA Camp Indian Springs helps secure a strong future for our youth. BEQUEST Naming a bequest to YMCA Camp Indian Springs in your will ensures that we are able to continue to serve youth in a world with fewer places where they can really be kids. This may be a significant tax benefit to you and your family. LIFE INSURANCE You make a gift of an existing life insurance policy by naming YMCA Camp Indian Springs as the beneficiary and owner. LIFE INCOME AGREEMENT A life income agreement allows you to make substantial gifts to YMCA Camp Indian Springs while reserving fixed amounts for use by a second beneficiary and/or during your lifetime, The gift annuity, pooled life income fund and charitable remainder trust are three types of life income agreements. REVOCABLE LIVING TRUST YMCA Camp Indian Springs receives income for a specified number of years, after which the principal is returned to the donor or another individual. A lead trust may reduce current income tax liability and estate tax exposure in some cases. FLEXIBLE ENDOWMENT The flexible endowment allows you, through a combination of regular annual gifts and future planned gift, to create a named endowment of $300,000 or more. This allows you to provide YMCA Camp Indian Springs with all the benefits of a fully funded endowment without having to divest yourself of the total dollars until it is appropriate for you to do so. The endowment can be in your name or that of someone you wish to honor.

Scholarship Last year, this scholarship program provided the opportunity for nearly 230 children to really be themselves and enjoy time during the summer at YMCA Camp Indian Springs. Scholarships are essential to the character of the YMCA Camp Indian Springs experience because they provide kids who might not have the means to attend camp, with the opportunity to benefit from a uniquely supportive environment, and contribute their individual talents and backgrounds to make that environment reflective of the whole society. At YMCA Camp Indian Springs kids can be kids and enjoy a wide range of activities, from skate boarding, swimming, to hiking, sports, or crafts while making lasting friendships with other campers from all walks of life. YMCA Camp Indian Springs YMCA is committed to providing the means for 225 kids to attend our Resident Camp program this summer, at a cost of approximately over $50,000. We rely heavily on the support of our community of alumni and friends to meet this essential financial goal. The cost of sending a child to our various camps is listed below:
